SUMMER SEASON ACTIVITIES





	Fly Fishing Try a unique style of fishing in the unusually clear waters of the Soca. Both brown trout and the rarer species of marble trout reside in the Soca River. Local guides are available to share the secrets of the area.

	Mountain Biking Outside Bovec the Mountain Bike Park Kanin is a grown up playground for mountain bikers at 1088m. A cable car takes you and your bike to the start of the trails. Besides the park the valley has around 19 well maintained biking trails. LINK TO MTB Park Kanin

	Hydrospeed Enjoy getting up-close and personal with the river, armed with a glorified float, flippers, life jacket and toasty wetsuit. This sport is really good fun. Swimming through the rapids is a great way to get to know the awesome Soca River. The guys at Soca Rafting provide top quality guiding and equipment hire. Paragliding Choose from the peaks of Kanin Stol or Mangart and take a tandem -paraglide with the excellent guides from Adventura. A mind-blowing way to experience the beauty of the area. After a long days adventuring relax in a the Jacuzzi bath or re-live the adventures round the full size dining table

One of the valleys most attractive features is the year round activities on offer. From white water rafting and fishing in the summer to skiing and ice-climbing in the winter. Quality equipment and guidance is available at all levels for all sports.

Full instruction and supervision can be provided by expert local instructors.

Equipment hire (including good quality Mountain bikes) is available locally.

Kayaking

The Soca River offers paddling for all abilities. For beginners highly trained local guides can make even the most timid of explorers comfortable, give it a go with the outdoor freaks team of friendly guides. For budding pro's there is no lack of challenges to be found.

Rafting

Rafting is a sport everyone should try. Adrenalin fuelled non-stop fun for you and your friends. Soca Rafting are excellent river guides for this sport.

Hiking

Whether aided by a guide or just a map there is no end of walking trails and paths. Hiking in the Soca valley is literally breathtaking. Local snow capped peaks, Triglav, Mangart and Krn are on the doorstep.

Horse Riding

Horse riding is a great way to take in the valley. Saddle up and join the excellent guides from Alpin Action for horseback adventure. The Alpin Action centre is home to a cosy bar, perfect for winding down at the end of a ride.
